ETHICS POLICY AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT

Our journal ethics policies regarding research misconduct, conflicts of interest, and malpractice are developed in accordance with COPE’s Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Duties of Editors: Publication decision, Fair play, Confidentiality, Disclosure and Conflicts of interest, Involvement and cooperation in investigations
Duties of Reviewers: Contribution to Editorial Decision, Promptness, Confidentiality, Standards of Objectivity, Acknowledgement of Source, Disclosure, and Conflicts of Interest.
Duties of Authors: Academic standards, Reporting standards, Data Access and Retention, Originality and Plagiarism, Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication, Acknowledgement of Sources, Authorship of the Paper, Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects, Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest, Fundamental errors in published works.

Plagiarism Detection.  We take the obligation to assist the scientific community in all aspects of publishing ethics, especially in cases of (suspected) duplicate submission or plagiarism. We use the institutional (Bucharest University of Economic Studies) plagiarism detector.

AI Policy. Authors are responsible for the entire content of the manuscripts and must disclose the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the writing process. AI technologies may only be used to improve the language and clarity of the text, and their use must be monitored and reviewed by the authors. AI cannot be considered an author or co-author of a manuscript, as the responsibility for the content lies solely with the human authors.

Originality Declaration. Authors publishing in this journal make an official declaration of originality of the material, that it meets the standards of research ethics, and that it has not been published or submitted for peer review elsewhere.
